Black Friday Weekend Giveaway. every dollar spent = one new entry. Prizes include paid trip to Kabuki HQ, Bars, and more
Anyone who has attended both the Principles of Loaded Movement and Advanced Athlete Preparation (will be available as a virtual course soon) courses are eligible to come to a Coaches Certification held once or twice per year at the Kabuki Strength Lab in Portland Oregon. The Coaches Certification is a way for Coaches, Athletes, and Clinicians to take the next step in their professional career and join a community of individuals who have invested in themselves and who want to support the growth of strength, movement theory, and S&C research.
When you attend a Coaches Certification you can expect a high-level review of the Fundamentals and Advanced courses while being exposed to new topics in athlete communication, buy in, and evaluation of new information from research and evidence.
Our biggest goal for the Coaches Certification is to bring new Coaches into our family who represent the Kabuki Strength brand. Along with joining a thriving community you’ll also be featured on our site as a Coach and have the opportunity to create unique content to be featured on our platform.
If you have any additional questions about our courses or to speak with a coach, please email email@example.com
How is this different from a personal trainer cert from someone like NASM or ISSA
The Coaches Certification that will be held at Kabuki Strength in December is much more in-depth and hands-on than any industry-standard personal training certification. You will need to first take Principals of Loaded Movement and then our Advanced Athlete Preparation seminars, in order to qualify for the Coaching Certification. The knowledge and hands-on application of movement assessment and positional movements (through breathing and bracing, foot mechanics, hips, and shoulders) is second to none. You will not be disappointed and you will feel like you just took your education to the next level.
I wanna do this, when is the next adv athlete prep course?
Currently, we are evaluating the COVID19 situation going forward before making a decision about when/where/how we will be holding the next Advanced Athlete Preparation seminar. However, once we make a decision, it will be announced on our website, as well as on our Socials. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hopefully seeing you in person later this year.
Is this certificate still being held in person for now?
Yes, the Coaches Certification will only be held in person, onsite at the Kabuki Strength Lab. Attendees must have already attended our Principles of Loaded Movement course, as well as our Advanced Athlete Preparation course.
How to enroll in your online certification program?
The only seminars that can be taken online are Principles of Loaded Movement and Advanced Athlete Preparation. The Coaches Certification is only available in-person at our facility in Portland, Oregon. Once you have completed the first two seminars, you can sign up for the Coaches Certification seminar here;
Will this event still go on ?? With corona ?
Since it is 8 months away, it is really impossible to answer this question. Per the most recent statements from the government and CDC, they expect to be able to lift self-distancing restrictions by summer. However, they are also not ruling out a resurgence of the virus in some areas after an initial decrease in cases. We are optimistic that we will be able to hold the Coaches Certification in December, at this time. If self-distancing restrictions are in place when we are much closer to that date, we will reach out to registrants with other options, including our plans to reschedule.
