When we set out to partner with an American manufacturer for our first major piece of weightroom equipment, we knew it couldn't be just anyone. After all, we design and engineer the highest quality barbells in the game, so it only made sense to find the crème de la crème in the rack world to team up with.
The story of how Ghost Strong got started even rings familiar to our own story - owner Tim Grissel saw a need to improve on a standard piece of gym equipment that just wasn't cutting it - the J-Cup. Now, there is near-unanimous consent that not only is Ghost's J-Cup (included with this rack) the best in the industry, but their racks are a step above what anyone else is doing in terms of quality, functionality, durability, and aesthetics. All this to say, we can't imagine any other company to team up with than the incredible group over at Ghost Strong.
A perfect medium between squat stands and a full rack, the Kabuki Half-Rack is built for serious training with a smaller overall footprint compared to a full rack. Featuring built-in weight storage, a pull-up bar, and removable safeties - this rack fits perfectly in a garage or compact home gym space.
Rack Footprint: 49" Wide, 53" Deep, 93" Tall
Storage Pins add 10.5" on either side
This is our bread and butter. They feature our patented Ghost Return Roller into the design. The Ghost Return Roller will accept all bar sizes from standard barbells, large squat bars and even 1.9” diameter axel bars. When you rack the bar onto a Ghost Return Roller, the shape of the roller rolls the bar into the perfect position and then the lifter can easily roll it from side to side to center the bar in the rack.
Would you happen to sell a dip bar attachment with the rack as an accessory? If you don't sell the dip bar attachment, could we use 3rd attachments on the half rack?
I checked with Ghost Strong, since they create the racks and they stated they definitely could. However, there would be a substantial cost, since they would have to create one. Another option that they said would fit would be the Rogue ML Matador:
1) Does it need to be bolted into the ground or wall? 2) How tall is it?
The Kabuki Half Rack is 93 inches tall and we strongly suggest bolting it to the ground and the wall.
Is it possible to have it in a lower height ?
Unfortunately, this rack only comes in one height.
